Eine eindringliche audiovisuelle Installation, die Luft sowohl visuell als auch ökologisch "sichtbar" macht, indem untersucht wird, wie das Unsichtbare fotografiert werden kann. Das Projekt erkundet eine fotografische Technik, um ein wesentliches, aber unsichtbares Element einzufangen: Luft. Die Fotografien versuchen also, das Unsichtbare zu messen.

Die Bilder erscheinen großformatig aus der Dunkelheit, als drei simultane digitale Lichtprojektionen gegen drei Innenwände einer Kirche. Ein technisches Geräusch steht im Gegensatz zu den Naturfotografien als Symbol für unsere industriellen Auswirkungen auf eine sich verändernde Umwelt. Es werden auch Artikel mit vorgeschlagenen Umweltlösungen gezeigt.

“Seeing the Unseen” is an immersive audio-visual installation which makes air “visible” both visually and ecologically via an exploration of how to photograph the unseen. The project explores a photographic technique to capture one essential yet invisible element: Air. The photographs thus attempt to measure the unseen.

The images appear out of the darkness in large format as three simulataneous digital light projections against three interior walls of a church. A tech noise contrasts with the nature photographs as symbolic of our industrial impact on a changing environment. Scientific articles with proposed environmental solutions are shown as well.
